The story behind the music
A life shaped by music and faith.
Danny’s story with music began in an unlikely place: he grew up with deaf parents. They became some of his greatest supporters, attending his gigs and concerts and always encouraging him to play.
At six years old, Danny fell in love with The Beatles. Their guitars, harmonies, and songwriting captured his imagination. His grandmother, Dukes, introduced him to faith at an early age, and those two influences eventually became deeply intertwined. For more than 30 years, he has had the privilege of leading worship.
In 2012, Danny recorded Long Time Coming, an independent album brought to life through crowd funding. Six years later, his wife Vicki died in a tragic car accident after 39 years of marriage. Music, faith, family, and the people God placed in his life helped carry him through grief and healing.
In 2021, Danny met Joni-Jance, and their relationship opened a beautiful new chapter. Now, as he approaches retirement from a 40-year career as a flight attendant, he looks forward to spending more time writing and performing soft rock, classic rock, country, acoustic music, and worship music.
Still playing. Still writing. Still starting over.
